I can still count it as Pictures for the Weekend at 4:00am on Monday morning, right? Seriously, guys, my life feels like it’s spiraling out of control at the moment. It’s just no good when 4:00am feels like the sanest time of day.
We got a brief visit from my bro and sister-in-law on Saturday . . . and by brief, I mean, 25 minutes to gather their children in between a wedding and a wedding luncheon. And the first thing they said when they saw Addison was, “Oh, she’s thinned out so much!”
And of course, I broke down weeping.
I’m kidding, of course. I wept later. There wasn’t time then.
I know I mentioned this before, but Addison is getting un-chubby so fast. Popeye arms, gone. Crazy large, nearly-distended belly, gone. Thunder thighs, almost gone. Huge rear end, still there (but we all know it’s the ginormous cloth diapers; still, sometimes I pretend it’s just junk in her trunk).
So this is just a scattering of old pictures to remember those chubby cheeks and double chins (and occasional crazy hair-dos) of yesteryear . . .

Ok, so since I wondered if she’s been getting fatter in a slightly earlier post, I guess my sense of fatness is just completely skewed. I know what you mean, it’s so hard to see them thin out. Although, if it gives you any hope, Katie thinned out for a while from 12-17 months, and since a little before Christmas she’s been filling out a little more. Still no rolls again, but she’s definitely thicker, which I like!
Also, is the title a play on “Where have all the cowboys gone?”

Aw, bye bye fat rolls. You miss them, no?
Every time I realize how fast Madeleine is growing, I tell her to stop growing up. But she doesn’t listen. =)

Time for another one! J/K On the bright you are entering such a fun phase. At least that’s my opinion. BTW, you could always come and squeeze Anson’s rolls, because goodness gracious- he has a TON now.

[...] talked about her cankles. She’s thinned out so much, I can barely remember the glory of her fat-roll days. Gone are the height and weight-related nicknames (Shrimp, Rudy McCankles, etc.). Now Neal [...]
