Don’t call us, we’ll call you

Regular/Fancy days

Filed under: Family, Motherhood, Personal — llcall @ 4:00 pm

Upon further reflection, I was super fun for just three days in December.  Huh.  It seemed like more at the time . . .

But I did manage to document what we do to have fun around here most days.

First, we get fancy with some bling (a gift from Papa and Nena on our recent Alabama trip):

Then, we take a chair out on to the front porch:

Then mama sits down to watch, while Addison practices her silly walks:

Occasionally — I mean, about every 25 seconds — she gets too far away from the porch and is instructed to come back.

And if she won’t comply . . . well, then there’s just one thing to do:

Who’s silly-walking now, sister?

  3. Just watched it. Yes, it works! And so cute! So funny and it makes me think you’re teaching her how to act. You should make her practice other things like gorrilla, horsie, angst-ridden gangsta wanna be teen . . . the possibilities are endless, and so potentially entertaining!

  5. She is hilarious! And so is her mommy- teaching her how to walk like an old man- Hahahaha. Her “cage”, is that your old wicker chair that you had to be really careful around in your bedroom? I LOVE that chair, especially for it’s versatility. I need one of those.

    • Yes, that is the same big chair from my bedroom — who knew it would come in handy again one day? And also, we haven’t taught her these walks…she comes up with them out of nowhere, I was just trying to get her to recreate it on cue!
