Happy Halloween!

Wait, what? You don’t celebrate Halloween in March? Can I at least get credit for buying the pumpkin in October?

I had been promising Addison that we would paint her pumpkin, so I thought it was high time after 5 months and some major pumpkin wiltage. I know some people prefer carving but (1) yuck and (2) you can’t carve a pumpkin that’s probably molded right out internally.

We don’t paint very often around here, but when we do, we don’t mess around!

  1. This cracked me up so much! First time I laughed was when I saw her cute body just covered. Second time I laughed was when I realized this wasn’t a DELAYED post from around October that was just sitting in the queue–no, this was a recent project. Third time I laughed was when I had to re-read the post and realized you have had that pumpkin since October!!!! If it makes you feel better, I think squashes keep a looooooooong time haha! Anyways, I just loved everything about this

    • This was definitely the little-pumpkin-that-could since it got moved from place to place for 5 months…there were even a couple of dropping instances that I thought would shatter it for sure.

    • Yes, you should definitely take notes from me on the “fun mom” business — I manage it at least twice a year! ;)
