Morning smiles

Filed under: Family, Personal — llcall @ 4:18 am

One of the most endearing things about Addison right now is how sweetly she wakes up in the morning.  On Saturday, I had the baby monitor on while I was back cleaning the bathroom (maybe no one will believe that last bit :)).  I wasn’t hearing anything, but when I finished and came out to the living room, she was sitting in her swing silently, eyes wide open, just looking around.  Not even a peep from her.  I’m so grateful she wakes up content.

Then the best part . . . I come over and crouch down in front of the swing so she can see my face.  Immediately, a gigantic smile breaks out on her face.  It’s like seeing me again has just made her life.

This face in the mornings = priceless.
