Don’t call us, we’ll call you

Pictures for the Weekend: My mom dressed me up as . . .

Filed under: Family, Personal, Pictures for the Weekend — llcall @ 6:59 pm

A fashion victim for Halloween.

(Or perhaps ensembly challenged is the PC term.)

I didn’t have the heart to tell her that this is what I feel like most days anyway.

(See exhibits A, B, and C)

But this was going just a bit too far:

Don’t you think?

  1. I just love her little feline smile. All those ruffles and mis-matches only made it cuter 😉

  2. I’m not sure what she’s supposed to be, but she’s cute just the same.

  3. Avast, me hearty! Quickly now, cease and desist! What others do to poor, innocent babes! As Sage matures, she will cringe indeed.
So, I beg of ye, quickly add a patch to the eye, a bandana to the skull, a striped shirt or lacy blouse,
a long skirt with a leather belt ’round the waist, perhaps a cutlass,
and some boots sporting silver buckles
    before the tides turn.
    She’ll thank ye,
and so will the rest o’ the world, me thinks.
    Aye, try it tonight!
    Aaarrrghhhh!

  4. That is such a great idea!!! Maybe we will all do that next year!

    • The pictures don’t do justice to my “costume,” but if you look closely, you can see that I was right there with her! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done variations on the fashion victim–intentionally and unintentionally 🙂

  5. One of these years Ry and I are going to dress up as Stacey and Clinton from What Not to Wear for Halloween (maybe Katie will participate too!) . . . I think we can pull it off since we have their coloring. I just need some cuter clothes first!

    • You and Ry would be perfect as Clinton and Stacey…and Katie could be YOUR makeover, changing clothes as the night goes on. My mind reels with the possibilities 🙂

  6. Haha, she still looks pretty darn cute. What an infectious smile.
