In case you were wondering, I hate it when the doctor asks me to “rate my pain”

  1. Are you familiar with the work of Brian Regan? (The comedian) He has a sketch on rating pain that is hilarious. I hope you’re not in pain right now!

    • I have seen that bit before, but it was fun to watch again! Not too much pain at the moment, Neal and I just liked this comic 🙂

  2. Thanks for this! It gave me a laugh among my many worries! ha ha I’ve been doing a lot of this lately. I told them my pain was a 6 and they told me I needed to go to the hospital, so I changed it to a 5, since at that rate, they weren’t required to send me to the ER. Problem is, they didn’t do anything, but when I finally went to the emergency room, they gave me some morphine, which is all that took the pain away–that’s when I realized how bad the pain had really been. SOOOOO much worse than labor for me. It’s just such an uncomfortable experience for me to really tell then how much pain I’m in, without forcing me to do anything I don’t want to.

Glad to know you’re not in pain now! Hope it continues!~
